Hi FANS!
We went through the Disney's and Lucasfilm "terms of use" and just to be safe and not to get in any trouble, this project is considered an unofficial non-profit fans project until approved by Disney / Lucasfilm.

We all hope, that Lucasfilm and Disney will understand that only fans can make the best remakes and they will reconsider their decisions.

Went2Play is a team of senior game designers, programmers, artists and musicians, who want to bring this classic title to a new generation. All team members are skillful senior developers with lots of experience in the computer field. We are 3D generalists and do not require a large team to make this project happen successfully with a low budget.

The Demo is completed and we would like to present it at Disney/Lucasfilm. Our presentation would introduce our team, development plan, HD artworks, technical side and the Demo itself.

We would like to achieve one of those options:
1. get a permission to create a crowdfunding campaign to prove the interest in this project.
2. or get hire by Lucasfilm and create this game internally to keep the license in the house.
3. obtain a temporary Indy license to be able to finish this project.

Corporation politics & problems & people:

Unfortunately, if you are not very well known person, if you are not a super rich person, if you don't have a lots of connections with a high posted bosses, you are pretty much doomed, but there is a little chance that somebody will like your blue eyes and gives you 30s of fame to present your product!

Our mission is to create a demo of this legendary game after more than 20 years, which nobody has attempted yet. Updated version features high definition digital artwork, smooth, realistic animation, high quality music, sound effects and voice overs.
That's not all! We also updated the story and the player will choose if he/she wants to play the SE or Classic story version. We don't plan to combine pixel version with HD version, because it's unnecessary effort, especially if the game is out for more than 23 years! :o)
